Sing & Swing Night
at Sophia Soshigaya International House

上智大学直営寮（枝川寮・祖師谷国際交流会館・アルペ国際学生寮）は、国籍、宗教、文化等、多様なバックグラウンドを持つ学生たちが暮らす教育寮です。

Sophia dormitories (Edagawa Men’s Dormitory, Soshigaya International House, and Arrupe International Residence) are educational dormitories where students from diverse backgrounds live and spend time together.

5月24日（土）、祖師谷国際交流会館にて、Casual Mingling企画の一環として「Sing & Swing」が開催されました。

On Saturday, May 24th, “Sing & Swing” was held at Soshigaya International House as part of the Casual Mingling series of events.

今回のイベントを企画したCasual MinglingチームのLGL（リビンググループリーダー）たちは、照明やスピーカーの配置を工夫し、参加者が歌って踊る気分を盛り上げる没入型の空間を演出しました。

ドリンク、プロテインバー、果物などでエネルギーをチャージしながら、歌とダンスに集中できるよう準備も万全。

イベントは、Just Danceとカラオケを交互に楽しむ形式でスタートし、ダンス曲2曲、カラオケ曲2曲という流れで進行しましたが、時間が経つにつれてカラオケの時間が増えていきました。

The organizers-LGLs (Living Group Leaders) of the Casual Mingling team thoughtfully arranged lighting and sound equipment to create an immersive atmosphere that kept everyone in the mood to sing and dance.

While recharging with drinks, protein bars, and fruit, participants were encouraged to fully focus on enjoying the music and movement.

The event began with alternating rounds of Just Dance and karaoke—typically two dance songs followed by two karaoke songs. As the evening progressed, karaoke became the main attraction, with more time dedicated to singing.

この「Sing & Swing」は、寮生同士が気軽に交流できる小規模で楽しいイベントを定期的に開催するというCasual Minglingチームのビジョンのもとに企画されたものです。参加者からのフィードバックからも、今回のイベントが実りある交流の場となったことがうかがえます。

This event was part of the Casual Mingling team’s ongoing effort to bring residents together through smaller, fun, and engaging activities. Based on participant feedback, “Sing & Swing” successfully fostered meaningful connections and created lasting memories.

直営寮ではこれからも様々なイベントを企画しています。寮生の皆さん積極的な参加に期待しています。

祖師谷国際交流会館とアルぺ国際寮では、寮生が多様性の中での共同生活を通じて人間的成長を果たすために、基本的な生活コミュニティとしてリビンググループが形成されており、各グループにはリビンググループリーダー（LGL）が任命されています。LGLは、新寮生の入寮サポートをはじめ、寮内での様々な学習会や交流イベントの企画等、寮文化の醸成に貢献しています。

A variety of events will continue to be organized at Sophia Dormitories, and all residents are encouraged to actively participate.

Soshigaya International House and Arrupe International Residence are our international dormitories, home to residents from diverse backgrounds. These dormitories use the Living Group as the basic unit of the community, allowing students to learn and grow within a diverse environment. Living Group Leaders (LGLs) are appointed to facilitate various activities in the dormitories. LGLs provide support and organize activities such as move-in assistance, workshops, gatherings, and the proposal and implementation of rules to foster a vibrant dormitory culture.
