Sophia University 110th anniversary Balloon Release Ceremony

創立110周年を祝う特別な瞬間をみなさんの記憶と映像に残したいという思いを込めて企画しました。初代学長ヘルマン・ホフマン神父像を囲ってのバルーンリリースの様子をドローンで撮影します。学生・教職員で上智のルーツに思いを馳せ、大学の新たな歴史を共有しましょう！事前の申し込みは不要です。皆さんのご参加をお待ちしています！
We would like to celebrate our 110th anniversary and preserve this special occasion in your memories and on video. We will use a drone to film the balloon release ceremony around the statue of our first president, Father Hermann Hoffmann. Let’s look back to our roots with students and faculty members and share in Sophia’s new history together! No need to apply in advance. We look forward to your participation!

- 環境への配慮
- バルーンリリースは、専門家の指導の下で日本バルーン協会が定めたガイドラインを遵守し、100%自然原料のラテックスから作られた風船や水に溶ける紙ひもを使用するなど、環境と動植物に十分配慮して行います。使用する風船は高度8000mまで上昇後、粉々に分裂し、日光や微生物によって分解される環境に優しいものです。

- Depending on the weather, there is a possibility of postponing to the same time on October 6th. We will notify on Loyola.
- Environmental Friendliness
- We will follow the guidelines set by the Japan Balloon Association under the guidance of experts, and we use balloons made of 100% naturally degradable latex material and water-soluble paper strings, giving full consideration to the environment and wildlife. The balloons to be used are environmentally friendly, and break up into pieces after ascending to an altitude of 8,000 meters, and decompose in sunlight or by microorganisms.
