ようこそ学生寮へ！　2026年春歓迎イベント紹介
Welcome to Dorm！　Introducing Our Spring 2026 Event

上智大学直営寮（枝川寮・祖師谷国際交流会館・アルペ国際学生寮）は、国籍、宗教、文化等、多様なバックグラウンドを持つ学生たちが暮らす教育寮です。


今年3月、新たな寮生が入寮し、LGL（リビンググループリーダー）が企画した歓迎イベントが実施されました。本記事では、上智大学直営の3つの寮それぞれで行われたWelcome Partyの様子をお届けします。

Sophia dormitories (Edagawa Men’s Dormitory, Soshigaya International House, and Arrupe International Residence) are educational dormitories where students from diverse backgrounds live and spend time together.

In March this year, new residents moved into Sophia Dormitories, and welcome events planed by the LGLs (Living Group Leaders) were held. In this article, we share highlights from the events held at each of the three Sophia dormitories.

アルペ国際学生寮　Arrupe International Residence

多目的エリアはたくさんの寮生でいっぱいに。

アルペ国際学生寮の歓迎会は、ゲーム形式で自己紹介を行い、たくさんの会話と共に和やかな雰囲気で行われました。


ゲームの景品としてLGLが手作りしたブレスレットなどのプレゼントが用意され、イベントはさらに盛り上がりました。この日は45名を超える参加者が集まり、幸先の良い寮生活のスタートを印象付ける歓迎会となりました。

The welcome party at the Arrupe International Residence featured self-introduction games, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere filled with lively conversations.

Handmade gifts such as bracelets prepared by the LGLs as game prizes added even more excitement to the event. More than 45 residents took part on the day, making it a welcome party that marked a positive and memorable start to dormitory life.

祖師谷国際交流会館　Soshigaya International House

祖師谷国際交流会館は直営寮最大規模。集合写真も圧巻。

祖師谷国際交流会館では「祭り」をテーマに、射的や輪投げなどの日本の遊びを取り入れたイベントを開催しました。どちらも日本のお祭りで親しまれる伝統的な遊びで、寮生たちは日本のお祭り文化を楽しみました。



パーティーのために、在寮生は大量のから揚げや大鍋で煮たグリーンカレー、日本のお祭りの定番スイーツであるチョコバナナを振舞いました。どの食べ物も大人気であっという間に売り切れに。新寮生にとって在寮生の得意料理や日本の食文化を知ることができる機会になりました。

At Soshigaya International House, an event themed around a traditional Japanese Matsuri (festival) was held, featuring classic Matsuri games such as shooting galleries and ring toss. These activities are well-loved elements of Matsuri culture in Japan, and residents thoroughly enjoyed experiencing this unique aspect of Japanese tradition.

For the party, current residents served large amounts of karaage, green curry cooked in big pots, and chocolate-covered bananas, a classic Matsuri sweet in Japan. All the dishes were a big hit and were gone in no time. It was a great opportunity for new residents to learn about the residents’ specialty dishes as well as Japanese food culture.

枝川寮 　Edagawa Men’s Dormitory

枝川寮はみんなでガッツポーズ。

枝川寮は、直営寮唯一の男子寮であり、個室タイプという特徴があります。寮生同士が打ち解けるためにLGLたちがピザや沢山のゲーム企画を用意してくれました。

行われたゲームはじゃんけん列車や寮全体を使った借り物競争などのユニークなものばかり。ゲームをきっかけに、自然と会話も盛り上がり、新しい友人とのつながりも広がりました。

Edagawa Men’s Dormitory is the only men’s dormitory among Sophia dormitories and is characterized by its single-room layout. To help residents get to know one another, the LGLs prepared pizza and a variety of games.

The activities included unique games such as “rock-paper-scissors train” and a scavenger hunt held throughout the entire dormitory. The games helped spark lively conversations and made it easier to build new friendships.

LGLが工夫を凝らして準備した企画や当日の写真などから各寮の特徴や雰囲気が伝わる素敵な歓迎会となりました。ぜひ、今後も様々な交流を通して充実した寮生活を送ってほしいと思います。

The creatively planned activities prepared by the LGLs, along with photos from the day, made it a wonderful welcome event that reflected the unique character and atmosphere of each dormitory. We hope everyone will continue to enjoy a fulfilling dormitory life and build meaningful connections through various activities going forward.
