【直営寮】枝川寮で2024年秋学期新寮生歓迎会を行いました 【Sophia Dormitories】2024Fall Welcome Party for new residents at Edagawa Men’s Dormitory

上智大学直営寮（枝川寮・祖師谷国際交流会館・アルペ国際学生寮）は、国籍、宗教、文化等、多様なバックグラウンドを持つ学生たちが暮らす教育寮です。

Sophia dormitories (Edagawa Men’s Dormitory, Soshigaya International House, and Arrupe International Residence) are educational dormitories where students from diverse backgrounds live and spend time together.

10月12日に枝川寮で、秋学期に入寮した新寮生の歓迎会を行いました。

On October 12, a welcome event was held at Sophia Edagawa Men’s Dormitory for new residents who moved in the dormitory in the fall semester.

秋学期には外国人留学生が多く入寮しました。この歓迎会をきっかけに、日本での生活に早く慣れてもらう事を目的の一つとして開催しました。

Many international students moved into the dormitory at the start of the fall semester. One of the aim of this welcome party was to help them smoothly transition to life in Japan.

1階のコミュニティールームに集合して、まずは軽食を取りながら会話を楽しみました。くじ引きではソフィアグッズなどを景品として用意し、それらを手にした寮生たちは、秋学期の大学生活への期待も膨らみました。

Residents gathered in the community room on the first floor and enjoyed conversations while having some light snacks. A raffle was held with Sophia goods as prizes, and the dormitory residents who won them felt even more excited about their upcoming fall semester at the university.

会場として使用したコミュニティールームは、皆でテレビを見たり、ボードゲームや卓球ができたりするスペースです。今後もこれらのスペースを使用して、寮の仲間同士、交流を深めて欲しいと期待しています。

The community room used as the venue of the event is a space where residents can watch TV, play board games, table tennis together. Residents are encouraged to use this space to strengthen their bonds with fellow dorm mates during their stay in the dormitory.
