リビンググループリーダー研修を行いました
Living Group Leader Training Session was Held

上智大学直営寮（枝川寮・祖師谷国際交流会館・アルペ国際学生寮）は、国籍、宗教、文化等、多様なバックグラウンドを持つ学生たちが暮らす教育寮です。

多様な学生達が暮らす寮で、寮生を支えるリビンググループリーダーの研修を3月25日に開催しました。

Sophia dormitories (Edagawa Men’s Dormitory, Soshigaya International House, and Arrupe International Residence) are educational dormitories where students from diverse backgrounds live and spend time together.

Training Session was held on March 25 for living group leaders who support residents in the dormitory, where a diverse group of students live.

リビンググループリーダーとは？

What is Living Group Leader?

祖師谷国際交流会館とアルぺ国際寮では、寮生が多様性の中での共同生活を通じて人間的成長を果たすために、基本的な生活コミュニティとしてリビンググループが形成されており、各グループにはリビンググループリーダー(LGL)が任命されています。LGLは、新寮生の入寮サポートをはじめ、寮内での様々な学習会や交流イベントの企画等、寮文化の醸成に貢献しています。

Soshigaya International House and Arrupe International Residence are our international dormitories, home to residents from diverse backgrounds. These dormitories use the Living Group as the basic unit of the community, allowing students to learn and grow within a diverse residential environment. Living Group Leaders (LGLs) are appointed to facilitate various activities within this system. LGLs organize many activities such as move-in support, workshops, exchange events, and the proposal and implementation of rules to foster a vibrant dormitory culture.

What’s Behind LGL’s Success?

研修ではLGLの仕事についての具体的な説明や、7つのLGLマインドの紹介、寮生活の課題のケースについて、その解決方法を話し合いました。

さらに、「リーダーシップ～熱意、説得力、交渉力でメンバーを巻き込む～」をテーマにした研修動画を視聴しました。動画で学んだ手法を取り入れて、他者を巻き込んで説得するためのグループワークと発表を行いました。

寮生活の日々の課題を解決するために、LGLはこれらの学びをさらに実践に生かしていく努力が必要になります。

The training included a specific explanation of LGL’s activity guidelines, an introduction to the seven LGL minds, and a discussion on solutions to dormitory life issues.

In addition, LGLs watched a lecture video on the theme of “Leadership – Engaging Members through Passion, Persuasion, and Negotiation.” They incorporated the techniques they learned in the video through group work and created plans for engaging and persuading others.

To solve daily challenges in dormitory life, LGLs will need to make further efforts to apply what they have learned from the training session into practice.
