【SSIC】奥多摩・御岳山で自然を満喫してきました

12月３日（水）に青梅市御岳山でワンデーエクスカージョンを実施しました。四ッ谷から電車で１時間30分。同じ都内ですが、キャンパスとは大きく異なる自然豊かな風景を満喫した1日となりました。

On Wednesday, December 3^rd, SSIC held a one-day excursion to Mt. Mitake in Ome City. It took about 1 hour and a half from Yotsuya Station. We enjoyed being in nature, which was completely different from our campus, yet they are both in Tokyo!

最初は、澤乃井ガーデン内の「豆らく」で豆腐料理を味わいました。炒り豆腐やおぼろ豆腐などから好きなメニューを選び、豆腐の優しい味を楽しみました。澤乃井ガーデンには売店やカフェも併設されており、お土産を購入したり、コーヒーを買って紅葉を眺めたりする参加者もいました。

Firstly, we had Tofu cuisine at Mameraku restaurant in Sawanoi Garden. Participants chose from dishes like stir-fried tofu and soft oboro tofu, savoring the gentle flavors of this traditional ingredient. There are shops and café. Some participants bought souvenirs and drank coffee while admiring beautiful autumn leaves.

昼食の後、多摩川沿いを30分ほど散策し、バスとケーブルカーを乗り継いで御岳山へ向かいました。まだ紅葉が残る木々や透明度の高い多摩川はとても美しく、それぞれ持参したスマホやカメラで写真撮影を楽しみました。

After lunch, we strolled along the Tama River for about 30 minutes before taking a bus and cable car up to Mt. Mitake. The clear waters of the river and the lingering autumn colors were stunning, and everyone enjoyed capturing the beauty with their own phones and cameras.

ケーブルカーを下りた後は、武蔵御嶽神社へ向かいました。急な坂や長い階段が続きましたが、境内から見た山々は絶景でした。神社では御守りを購入したり参拝したりするなど、日本文化に触れることができました。

Once off the cable car, we headed to Musashi Mitake Shrine. The path included steep slopes and long stairways, but the mountain views from the shrine were beautiful. There, participants experienced Japanese culture by purchasing Omamori charms and offering prayers.

散策には体力を要する場面もありましたが、美味しい豆腐と自然に癒されリフレッシュすることができました。

Although the hike was a little bit hard, the combination of delicious tofu and peaceful nature left us feeling refreshed and recharged.
